Travel grants

Two travel grants of 500 EUR each have been kindly made available by the European Proteomics Association (EuPA).

Eligibility criteria

The competition is intended for Early Career Researchers (PhD not yet obtained or obtained less than six years ago (January 01, 2019)). Applicants must be members of the metaproteomics initiative. Leave of absence (e.g. due to parental leave or illness) will extend the eligibility period by twice the duration of the leave of absence.

Further, the applicant must also submit an abstract for presenting at the symposium, either for poster or oral presentation. The abstracts will be used by the scientific committee to rank the applicants for these two travel grants.

Deadline

The deadline for applying for a travel grant is November 1^st, 23:59.

Notification on outcome

The two applicants selected for a travel grant will be notified within November 8^th, in due time before the early bird registration deadline.

Other travel grants

Some National Proteomics Societies also provide travel grants for Early Career Researchers to attend proteomics conferences. We encourage you to also contact your local society to check this option.
